Riven: Natural cleft face, left as the bed splits. Highest surface relief and the strongest wet grip.
Honed: Calibrated and ground to a flat matte face. The standard specification for external paving.
Brushed: Diamond-brushed after honing. Softens the arris and lifts a fine directional grain.
Polished: Progressive grit sequence to a close reflective face. Interior use only.

Wet
