Terms of supply

Trade supply only. Last updated 1 July 2026.

  1. 01

    Quotations

Quotations are issued to trade buyers only and hold for 30 days from issue. Prices are quoted to your nearest port or delivered to your yard, on request, and include export crating, packing list and batch test certificates.

  2. 02

    Orders and deposits

Orders are confirmed on receipt of a written purchase order and a 30 percent deposit. Cutting is scheduled against the confirmed finish and format; changes after cutting starts may be re-quoted.

  3. 03

    Natural variation

Shahabad limestone is a natural material from a working bed. Colour, veining and fossil detail vary within the range shown by samples and by tonal band. Samples indicate the range and are not a guarantee of an exact match.

  4. 04

    Tolerances

Calibrated finishes are supplied to ±1 mm on thickness, length and width. Riven material is supplied to ±3 mm on thickness. Flatness is held to ±0.8 mm over 600 mm.

  5. 05

    Delivery and title

Estimated lead times are given in good faith and are not conditions of contract. Risk passes on the basis stated in the quotation; title passes on receipt of cleared funds in full.

  6. 06

    Claims

Breakage and shortage claims should be made within 14 days of delivery, supported by photographs of the crate and material. Credit is issued against photographs and return of the goods is not required. Claims for material already laid are not accepted.

  7. 07

    Payment

Balance is due against presentation of documents unless a credit account has been agreed in writing. Late payment attracts interest at 4 percent above the Bank of England base rate.

  8. 08

    Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Contracting party: Mallikarjuna Stones Ltd, company number 17314931.
