From order confirmation, a single-colour 20 ft container is 21 to 28 days in production, 5 days to the port of loading, and 24 to 32 days on the water to Felixstowe, Southampton or London Gateway.
Sample boxes ship within three working days of request and reach a UK address in about a week. They carry 150 × 150 mm pieces of each stone in each available finish, dry and with a small water bottle, because the wet colour is the decision most buyers get wrong from a photograph.
Two points cause most slippage. The first is a finish change after cutting has started, which resets the polishing line. The second is a late call on tonal banding for phased projects, which we would rather agree before the first block is drawn.
